Brand Name - Visual Direction - UX/UI Design
Hornbeam Healthcare is a consultancy care service, specialising in outstanding care equipment for patients and care homes dealing with life-long mobility limitations.
As part of our initial discovery session, we set out to identify Hornbeam Healthcare's typical customers. Understanding our client's customers really is the first step in understanding their needs, motivations and how I can begin to map features for the software to best solve their problems, fulfil their needs and, ultimately, delight them!
A streamlined flowchart for Hornbeam's information architecture. Organising the sections in this manner allows for a clear visual representation of the user's journey through the website and helps correct any sticking points.
Once the customer journey was defined I went about creating low definition prototypes of the webpages to be designed, more commonly known as wireframes. These were translated into hight definition versions that can be tested over and over again to achieve the desired hierarchy and flow.

NEXT PROJECT
" Professional and helpful. Alex was genuinely interested in my business and what I was trying to achieve..."
Mobility supplies is a sector not traditionally associated with elegance, but the brief for this project was that the brand design didn't feel outdated and cheap. We needed to add a sense of heritage as the products on offer are of timeless quality.
